Baby Care Basics prepares new parents for survival of the first few weeks at home with your new baby or for new grandparents who would like information on what's new and different in caring for a newborn. This class provides you with some basic parenting skills, including: bathing, diapering, comforting and safety issues for the newborn. Teaching methods include DVD, PowerPoint, displays and demonstrations.
This class is held in the Education Center which is located on the ground floor of the Main Hospital, not in the Medical Plaza East Building.
This class is offered once a month. Registration is required to participate in this class. You only need to register one time per couple.
