This childbirth classes covers the mechanics of the labor and birth process and is meant to be taken upon your completion of the Gift of Motherhood online education class. See information about the online class here. No registration is necessary for the online class.
This is not a Lamaze class, but time will be spent learning breathing/relaxation techniques as well as comfort measures and the role of the coach.
A guided tour of The Birthing Center occurs after the class has ended, so please allow an additional 30-40 minutes for the tour.
Baby care basics is recommended as a companion class and requires separate registration. We suggest that you complete your classes by the time you are 36 weeks gestation. Registration is required to participate in this class. You only need to register one time per couple.
