COVID-19: What you need to know

See Frequently Asked Questions

If you suspect you are experiencing mild symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough or shortness of breath and known possibilities of exposure to the virus), please call your primary care provider. Your provider will ask specific screening questions and provide your next steps.

If you are experiencing severe symptoms and are considering a visit to Liberty Hospital Emergency Department or Liberty Hospital Urgent Care Clinic, please CALL BEFORE ARRIVING to allow staff to ensure infection control measures are in place:

Visitor Restrictions

Liberty Hospital is doing our part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. To protect our patients, providers, staff and caregivers, Liberty Hospital is temporarily instituting a No Visitors policy.

These exceptions will apply:

  • Family for patients receiving end-of-life care
  • One visitor per patient for scheduled appointments and procedures

Please also note the following guidelines:

  • No visitors to accompany patients in the Emergency Department, unless a provider deems it necessary for care
  • No visitors younger than age 14
