The Healing Hearts Support Group is for anyone who has experienced a heart attack, undergone heart surgery or had any cardiac event. Spouses and family members are welcome. The group will be facilitated by members of Liberty Hospital's Cardiac Rehabilitation Department and other guests such as cardiologists, chaplains, etc.
February's topic is nutrition. The guest speaker is Jessica Chavez, R.N., BSN, CDE. She is the Diabetes Education Program Coordinator at Liberty Hospital.
