Free Concussion Seminar March 7
Do you know the signs, symptoms and treatment of a concussion? Learn this and more during a free seminar from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 7, at Liberty Hospital Sports Medicine, 398 N. Blue Jay Drive, Liberty (behind Dick’s Sporting Goods).
Kyle Schneweis, M.D., of The Liberty Clinic, who specializes in sports medicine and family medicine, will discuss concussion care.
Athletic Trainer Jessica Goodman will talk about ImPACT and demonstrate the test athletes take. ImPACT is a baseline concussion test for which Dr. Schneweis recently received certification.
Jennifer Mackie, P.T., will show the latest technology in vision therapy, motor control training, and cognitive learning via the BITS software system.
